Families that struggle to get winter clothing for their kids are getting some help from Augusta Fire Rescue.
The fire department is partnering with the Kinsmen Club of Brockville for a snowsuit drive, distributing new and gently used snowsuits to families in need.
Augusta Fire Rescue staff say on social media they’re taking all sizes of snowsuits, as well as mitts and hats, but have a particular need for infant-sized snowsuits for both boys and girls.
You can bring donations to Fire Station 1 in Maitland, the Augusta Township office, Lisa’s General Store and Riopelle’s Grocery. They’re being accepted until December 1st.
