If you need help during the holiday season, now is the time to sign up. Registration is now open for the Kinsmen Club of Prescott’s Spirit of Giving program.
The annual initiative provides families in need in the South Grenville area with a Christmas dinner and toys for kids. The program is open to anyone living in Prescott, Augusta and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal.
You can sign up at the South Grenville Food Bank’s Cardinal office on Wednesdays from now until November 22nd, or at their Spencerville location on Thursdays from now until the 23rd.
Registrations will also be accepted at South Grenville District High School on November 15th, and at the Leo Boivin Community Centre from November 20th to 24th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Meanwhile, if you have any food you want to donate to the campaign, Kinsmen Club members say you can contact the club at 613-349-0076. They also say the items will all be distributed on December 16th.
