Your commute through town on Wednesday will involve a detour.
The Town of Prescott is closing the CN Rail overpass on Edward Street for more jacking operations from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM October 25th.
The overpass has previously closed for jacking operations in the summer and earlier this month.
Like those previous closures, the overpass will be closed to vehicles, and detour routes will be set up with signs posted by town staff.
Pedestrians will also still be able to go across the overpass. You can call the town’s Operations Department if you have any questions.
