Halloween festivities won’t be ending on the 31st of October in Prescott.
Town staff is recruiting volunteers to help with this year’s Pumpkin Parade, an annual event that sees jack-o-lanterns made by residents used to decorate the town for a free celebration.
The event is being held on November 1st in Riverwalk Park this year, and they need volunteers to help with planning, set-up, serving food and drinks, and clean-up once it’s over.
High school students will be able to put the time they spend volunteering for the event towards their community service requirement to graduate.
You can call the Town of Prescott at 613-925-2812 if you have any questions or want to sign up to volunteer.
