A visit to the circus may have been a nice way to end the school year for some students yesterday. Families gathered under the Big Top near Rotary Pavilion for one of the two performances by The Great Benjamin’s Circus.
Acts included a contortionist, a performance using a ring suspended high above center stage, motorcycles running around and upside down on the inside of the globe of death, juggling and the show ended with two fire breathers wowing the crowd. There was even a little comedy thrown into the mix during the hour and a half long performance.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.
