Several South Grenville business owners have a chance to take home an award next month from the St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership.
The organization, which helps supports newcomers to Canada in our area by connecting them with services like employment agencies and English tutors, has announced the finalists for this year’s Leeds-Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award.
It presents the award annually to celebrate the hard work and dedication of a local business owner born outside of Canada.
This year’s finalists include the owners of Indian Cuisine Hub, One Love Jamaican Cuisine, and Parkdale Pharmacy, all working out of Brockville.
Two other entrepreneurs, one based out of Gananoque and the other working out of Westport, are also finalists.
Staff members say the winner will be announced at an upcoming event called “Bridges to Better Business,” scheduled for some time in October.
