If you missed seeing the Seaway Surge’s 22-and-under team take home a provincial championship, you’ll have a chance to see more high-stakes baseball in our community soon.
The Surge organization is set to host Baseball Ontario’s annual 15-and-under (15U) AA championship tournament in Kemptville, Morrisburg and Brockville during the Labour Day long weekend.
The tournament will see some of the best young baseball players in the province, representing teams from places like Caledon, Mississauga and Kanata.
If you want to watch the Surge play, their first game will be in Kemptville at the baseball diamonds on South Gower Drive, against the team representing Toronto.
The championship begins on September 2nd.
