A national fundraising walk to benefit seniors is coming to North Dundas.
The “Grand Parade” will see groups of volunteers in communities all over Canada collecting donations and taking to the streets, with the money raised going towards local charities that help seniors.
An event is being organized in Winchester for the Grand Parade, with donations going towards the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The funds are being put towards construction for the new Dundas Manor Long-Term Care Home building.
So far, more than $11,000 has been donated to the project. You can learn more, donate, or sign up to take part in the Grand Parade at the event website. It’s scheduled for September 16th.
