“Cycling Without Age” taking residents through Prescott this August

Seniors and residents with limited mobility will have a chance to get a bike ride through Prescott next month.

“Cycling Without Age Brockville,” an organization that gives free bike rides to seniors and people who can’t leave their home often, will be offering some rides on trishaws and wheelchair transport bikes on August 15th.

The rides will be available from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and will last for up to an hour and a half, beginning at Walker House in Prescott.

Cycling Without Age is an international nonprofit first founded in Denmark.

Its goal is to help people who struggle with social isolation because of age or disability, by helping them socialize with other riders while enjoying a ride through their community.
