Staff members at the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville are thanking everyone who took part in a recent fundraising golf tournament for their support.
The event, called “Bob and Isabel’s Golf for Alzheimer’s,” was held on Saturday at Timber Run Golf Course in Lanark.
Staff members say the tournament and silent auction raised $20,785.
They say the money will be going directly towards supporting people in our area diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other kinds of dementia, and their caretakers and loved ones.
If you missed the event but still want to contribute to the organization, a fundraising barbecue is being organized at Brockville Hyundai on August 5th.
