Are you hungry for adventure this summer? If so, United Counties Leeds Greenville has launched a tour for you.
It’s called the Foodie Shop Adventures Tour. It encourages people to check out a variety of food businesses throughout the two counties.
Among the stops suggested is El Rebost de les Mil Illes in Prescott. It’s known for its Spanish pantry goods, cheese and meats.
Also, three Merrickville businesses are stops on the tour. They are Healthier Ever After, Mrs. McGarrigles and Pickle and Myrrh.
Organizers hope people will take a self-driving tour to see the 12 participating businesses. A tour map is online.
Leeds Grenville Warden Nancy Peckford says, the area is “one of Canada’s best tourism regions” and the tour is “a one-of-a-kind experience celebrating the authenticity of food, produced both locally and beyond.”
