The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival is getting underway soon and a fundraiser to support it is returning this year.
The Charlie McFarlane Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Labour Day Monday, Sept. 4 at Prescott Golf Club.
This tournament hasn’t been played since 2019, due to the pandemic. Organizers says the event “honours a true community champion.”
Charlie McFarlane was known for donating time and money to promote community spirit and children’s sports in the area.
