Las Vegas isn’t the only community celebrating a Stanley Cup win this year.
The Golden Knights beat the Florida Panthers 9-3 Tuesday night to win the 2023 Stanley Cup finals, four games to one.
One of the Golden Knights’ players this year was Ben Hutton, a graduate from South Grenville District High School.
In a post to the school’s social media pages, SGDHS staff members are congratulating Hutton for the win, and say they’re proud of him.

Hutton, who began his playing career during the Kemptville 73’s 2008-09 season, entered the National Hockey League (NHL) playing for the Vancouver Canucks in 2015. This year was his first playoff appearance.
