If you’re planning any summer trips that take you through North Dundas, you’ll need to work around a detour.
The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry has begun a major restoration project for the South Nation Bridge in Chesterville.
While the work is ongoing, the bridge is completely closed to motorists.
United Counties staff members have set up an official detour route that’ll take motorists along County Roads 9 and 7.
Construction is expected to continue until October.
