Videos are beginning to pour in for an online contest that can help community groups and projects win cash.
The McDougall Community Contest has started, and entries will be received up to Tuesday, May 23.
The contest, run by McDougall Insurance, asks groups to submit a video that shows the importance of the work they do. The top prize is $5,000, and there’s runner-up prizes of $3,000 and $2,000.
Locally, the South Grenville Food Bank is taking part to help feed kids in our community through the summer. Beacon Bags, a charity that supports people rescued from human trafficking, has also submitted an entry.
A vote to decide the winners is being held from May 24th to 31st on the McDougall Community Contest website.
