Traffic is going to be slowing down on Edward Street for the next few days.
The Town of Prescott has announced that the Edward Street overpass is being reduced from three lanes to two for two weeks.
The reduction will allow construction workers to do repairs and maintenance on the overpass’ guard rails, sidewalks and railings.
The walkways for pedestrians are expected to stay open the whole time.
Construction begins Monday, May 1st.
