A special Earth Day initiative is coming to Prescott this April.
Town staff members have published the monthly recreation calendar, which includes a “Community Clean-Up Day” that residents are being invited to take part in.
The event, happening on April 22nd to coincide with Earth Day, will see residents taking time to pick up litter and garbage around town to help protect the environment locally.
It’s happening from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on the 22nd, and bags, gloves, and t-shirts will be provided for free.
Other items in the recreation calendar include a screening of “The Lorax” at the Leo Boivin Community Centre on April 21st, and two roller skating nights on the 15th and 29th.
