A local charity is thanking a Catholic high school in the region for helping to support struggling kids.
Connect Youth, a Prescott-based charity that runs after school drop in programs and housing initiatives for children in the Leeds-Grenville area, has received a donation from St. Mary Catholic High School.
The money was raised at a pancake breakfast event earlier this month.
In a social media post, staff members with the organization say they’re “humbled and honoured” by the donation.
“Students raised a total of $1,480,” the post reads, “which will go directly into supporting youth struggling with homelessness in our community.”
