Nation Valley ATV Club: $14,000+ raised at Community Food Share food drive

Despite some heavy snowfall delaying the start of the event, Dave Baker says the Nation Valley ATV Club’s spring food drive was a great success.

The event, held earlier this month, brought in $14,760.79 for Community Food Share, an organization that runs food banks throughout North and South Dundas and North Stormont.

Baker, the Co-Chair of the committee organizing the event, is thanking all the sponsors and community members that contributed and helped make the club’s first charity event since the start of the pandemic successful.

“Our committee did a great job blowing the dust off hosting these types of events, and as usual we had great community support to make this a grand success,” Baker says. “We look forward to keeping the ball rolling with another charity event of this type next year.”

258 pounds of non-perishable food items were also collected for Community Food Share at the Food Drive. You can learn more about the organization on its website and social media pages.
