That’s a message from the Brockville General Volunteer Association, a group of volunteers that help at the Brockville General Hospital.
Staff members say the hospital is planning to recruit new volunteers to help with its palliative care wing.
According to the organization, volunteers will be expected to help patients and their families with day-to-day care, and they’ll receive training from hospital workers after they sign up.
Training is scheduled to start later this spring.
