The Town of Prescott is preparing to recognize the most important resident, volunteer and business of 2022.
Nominations have opened for the town’s annual Community Awards.
The recognition program commemorates the Citizen, Business and Volunteer of the Year, as nominated by residents, by presenting them with plaques to thank them for the work they do in town.
Last year, the Citizen of the Year was firefighter Bill Countryman, the Volunteer of the Year was Kinsmen Club of Prescott member Art Hitsman, and Prescott Memorials was named Business of the Year.
Town staff members say all nominations, including self nominations, will be accepted.
If you’re interested, you can find a link to fill out nomination forms for all three awards on the Town of Prescott website.
The deadline is April 14th.
