Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties announce public meeting for Chesterville bridge restoration

The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry is looking into a major construction project, and it wants input from the public.

The Counties have announced a public consultation for its plans to rehabilitate the South Nation Bridge in Chesterville.

According to staff members, the current plan for the project will require the bridge to be closed to all traffic from May 1st until mid-October, assuming there aren’t any delays.

The public information session, scheduled for March 20th from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, will give attendees a chance to learn more about the specific repairs and upgrades being made during the project, and let them offer feedback and suggestions.

The meeting is happening at the Nelson Laprade Centre in Chesterville. You can find more details on the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry website.
