If you have any mattresses or other bulky waste you’re trying to get rid of, you’ll have a chance to get it taken off your hands in a few weeks.
The Town of Prescott has announced that the first large item pick-up date of the year is scheduled for April 12th.
In order to have your items picked up, you’ll need to visit Town Hall and register them at least two days in advance.
Many items, like electronics and tires, will be picked up for free, but things like furniture, box springs and refrigerators have a registration fee, between $10 and $65 depending on the item.
After your items are registered, you’ll need to leave them curbside by 7:00 in the morning on the 12th to have them picked up by town workers.
