Registration open for Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada summer camps

Girls growing up in the Leeds-Grenville region will get a chance to learn about space, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) this summer.

Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada, the local branch of a nonprofit organization that supports young girls all over the world, has opened registration for a series of summer camps across the region.

According to the organization’s website, the theme for these camps is “reaching for the stars,” and will give participants a chance to try several hands-on activities and learn how they can start pursuing careers in STEM fields.

Two summer camps are being held in Prescott this year, from July 24th to 28th and August 21st to 25th.

You can find details for how to register your child on the Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada website and social media pages.
