Prescott residents will soon have an opportunity to recognize community members and groups for their work in 2022.
The Town of Prescott is beginning preparations for this year’s Community Awards. The outline for this year’s iteration of the program was approved at Monday’s council meeting.
The annual recognition program presents plaques to the town’s Citizen, Business and Volunteer of the Year, commemorating them for their work to improve Prescott and help other residents.
Last year’s winners were firefighter Bill Countryman, volunteer and event organizer Art Hitsman, and Prescott Memorials.
Nominations for all three categories are set to open on Tuesday, March 28th, and close a few weeks later on April 14th.
According to Deputy Clerk Kaitlin Mallory, more details will be announced over the coming weeks.
