Scarborough woman provides fake ID after speeding on 401

Police in South Dundas have charged a Scarborough woman after she tried to pass off a fake ID. Around 7:30pm on Wednesday, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on the 401. The 27-year-old woman gave the officer false identification.

Further investigation showed her driving license was actually under suspension. The woman was arrested and charged with personation with intent, driving under suspension and speeding. She will be back to appear in court in August.
