WDMH: “Judy Lannin Christmas Wish Tree” raised $65,000+ in December

Staff members from the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Foundation say its annual Christmas fundraising event was a big success.

Jane Adams, the WDMH Foundation’s Communications Lead, says its 25th “Judy Lannin Christmas Wish Tree” initiative brought in more than $65,000 in December.

Managing Director Kristin Casselman says that the only reason the hospital can provide the care it does is because of community support for fundraisers like this.

“The beautiful Christmas Wish tree was adorned with ornaments representing the donations our community has made,” she says. “We are so grateful for your support.”

The money will be going towards the hospital’s “Family Care Fund” which it uses to replace outdated and aging equipment.
