With the holidays over and 2023 underway, you’ll need to renew your cat and dog tags.
Town of Prescott staff members are reminding residents that its pet tags are now available for renewal and purchase.
Dog and pet tags cost $20 each per animal, or $18 to renew if you have one from last year and don’t need the information changed.
If you lose a tag, you can get it replaced for $5.

They allow the town’s animal control officer to contact you if your pet escapes and is caught.
Tags need to be renewed annually, and having a pet without a tag could result in a $110 fine.
You can buy them in person at Town Hall, or over the phone. You can find more details, and the number to call, on the Town of Prescott’s website.
