130 drivers were arrested as part of the OPP East Region Festive Ride Campaign.
Police have released the numbers from the initiative, which ran throughout the holiday season with the goal of limiting the number of drug and alcohol impaired drivers on local roads.
According to police, 37 people had enough alcohol in their systems when they were pulled over to warrant “warn range” temporary license suspensions.
217 impaired driving charges were reportedly issued in total.
In a social media post, officers are urging residents to continue reporting drivers they suspect are impaired, for the safety of everyone on the road.
