A mother from Vars has given birth to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital’s (WDMH) first baby of the year.
According to an announcement from hospital staff, Ruby Bergeron was born at 6:13 in the morning on Monday, January 2nd.
“We’ll be having three birthday parties in the same month which should be pretty fun,” says mother Selena Bergeron.
Her other children, Cora and Elliot, were also born at WDMH. They got to meet their sister in a video chat after she was born.
“Cora is ecstatic because she really wanted a baby sister,” she says. “Elliot isn’t quite sure about what is going on but he’s in for a big surprise.”
Bergeron is thanking the staff at the hospital for the care she received, and the workers are congratulating her and her family.
