East Region OPP officers are turning to the public for help identifying someone connected to a series of incidents at various liquor stores across the region.
According to police, the suspect has entered multiple liquor stores in Grenville County, Renfrew, Russell, and several other nearby communities, using reusable shopping bags to steal alcohol. They claim he’s taken over $10,000 in liquor so far.
Officers have described the suspect as a heavy set white male, standing roughly six feet tall with short brown hair and a brown beard. Pictures taken by security cameras have shown him frequently wearing gray sweaters.
