Business and commercial property owners in the downtown Prescott area will have a chance next month to shape the district’s future.
The Downtown Prescott Business Improvement Area (BIA), an organization of locals that works with the Town of Prescott on projects and events in the RiverWalk District, is electing a new Board of Directors.
Your property or business needs to be within the RiverWalk District boundaries in order to apply to join the board.
Plots owned by multiple people or corporations will need to select one representative to act as a member of the BIA and to run for a spot on the board.
The deadline to submit a nomination form is January 4th, at 4:00 PM.
The BIA will then hold an election to choose its next Board of Directors at a meeting January 31st.
Once elected, the new board will hold its position until the end of this municipal term of office, in late 2026.
