Town of Prescott staff members are calling on community members to help support struggling households over the holidays at its next roller skating event.
The Town’s monthly free roller skating night at the Leo Boivin Community Centre will see town staff collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Kinsmen Club of Prescott’s Spirit of Giving program.
The annual initiative provides households in the South Grenville region with Christmas dinner and toys for kids, using community donations.
The last two roller skating nights have collected donations for the South Grenville Food Bank.
The event is happening Saturday, December 11th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. You can find more information on the Town of Prescott’s website.
