People are being invited to sign up and donate to an annual fundraising event benefiting struggling kids in the Leeds-Grenville area.
Registration has been opened for the next “Coldest Night of the Year,” a nationwide fundraising and awareness campaign that sees volunteers collect donations and take to the streets to support charities that benefit homeless people in their communities.
Like last year, the money is going towards Connect Youth, an organization that helps at-risk youth in the region with things like housing and after school drop-in programs.
Last year’s event raised $11,685 for the organization.
