Renovations begin at new French Catholic campus in Kemptville

When the school year begins on August 30th, students in Kemptville, Merrickville, Smiths Falls and the surrounding area will have access to a totally renovated facility and an enhanced art program at the Kemptville campus of École catholique Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys.

Renovations began in mid-June and will continue until mid-August. The interior of Fraser Hall will be reconfigured to meet the needs of students in junior kindergarten to grade 6, providing the space they need to thrive.

The French Catholic board also announced a partnership with the Ottawa School of Art to provide an enhanced art program at the Kemptville campus. Board Chair Johanne Lacombe says they are responding to the wishes expressed by parents, staff and community members in a recent visioning exercise, focused on the importance of the arts in the school curriculum.
