More than 500 bags of food were donated to the Kinsmen Club of Prescott’s Spirit of Giving campaign at an event hosted by 107.9 Moose FM.
That’s according to Judi Baril, a coordinator for the campaign, who says the fundraising drive also brought in more than $1,700.
The money is going towards the Spirit of Giving, an annual initiative that helps households in need during the holiday season by providing them with toys for kids and Christmas dinner.
Baril is thanking the team from Moose FM, the local firefighters that attended the fundraiser, and the owners of O’Reilly’s Independent Grocer for hosting the event.
