South Grenville households that need help getting through the holiday season will be able to sign up for assistance this week.
Registration opens for the Kinsmen Club of Prescott’s annual “Spirit of Giving” initiative on Wednesday, November 2nd.
The program provides Christmas dinner and gifts for kids to local households in need, with help from donations by community members. Last year, it helped 225 families celebrate the holidays.
Registration will be available from November 2nd to 4th, then again after the weekend from the 7th to the 9th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on all six days.
Prescott residents will be able to register at the Leo Boivin Community Centre, while Cardinal and Spencerville residents can sign up at their local South Grenville Food Bank office.
