Reminder: Prescott Pumpkin Parade returns next week

If you leave your jack-o-lanterns curbside before going to bed on Halloween night, the rest of the community will have another chance to see them next week.

The Town of Prescott is reminding residents that jack-o-lanterns will be collected on the morning of November 1st for the annual Pumpkin Parade, where they’ll be used to decorate RiverWalk Park for a free, family-friendly celebration.

If you want to contribute but don’t want your pumpkins picked up curbside, you can drop them off at the park at 3:30 in the afternoon on November 1st.

Town staff say you can also bring jack-o-lanterns with you to the event if you plan to attend. They also say kids are encouraged to wear their costumes, and that the Leo Boivin Community Centre will host the Pumpin Parade instead if the weather is bad that evening.

The parade is happening November 1st starting at 6:00 PM.
