Kinsmen Club of Prescott posts registration dates for “Spirit of Giving” program

Households in the South Grenville area will be able to sign up for help during the holiday season in a few weeks.

The Kinsmen Club of Prescott has announced the sign-up dates for its annual “Spirit of Giving” program, providing Christmas dinner and gifts for children to families across the region.

People will be able to sign up from November 2nd to 4th, and again from the 7th to the 9th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Leo Boivin Community Centre. Cardinal and Spencerville residents will also be able to sign up at their local food bank.

According to Kinsmen Club volunteers, you’ll need to bring proof you live in the area in order to sign up.

The items given to families through the program are donated by community members at collection events. Last year, the program helped 225 families celebrate the holiday season.

Anyone interested in signing up can find more information on the Kinsmen Club of Prescott’s social media pages. If you’re interested in contributing to the program, Club volunteers say details for how to donate are coming soon.
