With about a month left before this year’s municipal election, the Town of Prescott is looking to fill out its boards and committees for the next term of office.
Applications are now being accepted for volunteers interested in joining the town’s Cemetery Board, Public Library Board, Planning Advisory Committee, Committee of Adjustment, Heritage Committee, and Police Services Board.
Applications for all six groups are being accepted by Town staff until October 15th, and current board members who want to stay on will need to re-apply.
Once applicants are chosen, they’ll take office starting November 15th, and hold their positions until the fall of 2026.
