Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookies funding new Prescott arena this week

An annual fundraising event is going towards the Alaine Chartrand Arena and Recreation Complex this year.

Tim Hortons’ yearly Smile Cookies campaign has returned this week.

Cookies cost one dollar each, and all proceeds from the Prescott location are going towards the new facility.

Last year’s Smile Cookie campaign, benefitting the South Grenville Food Bank, brought in more than $13,000 for the organization.

The arena, named after Prescott-raised two-time national figure skating champion Alaine Chartrand, has been in the works since before the pandemic, with ground broken at the construction site last July.

You’ll be able to purchase the cookies until Sunday, September 25th.
