Reminder: Nomination deadline for Leeds Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award this Friday

You’re running out of time to help internationally-born business owners in our region get recognized.

The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership is reminding residents that nominations for this year’s Leeds Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award close Friday, September 9th.

The award is presented annually to recognize the hard work and dedication of an immigrant business owner in the region.

Last year’s winner was Marc Gomez Segu, who runs a Spanish restaurant in Prescott.

Nominees need to have been born outside of Canada, and must live and work in the Leeds-Grenville area, but there’s no limit to how many people you can nominate.

You can find details for how to submit a nomination on the St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership’s Facebook page.
