With September on the horizon, the Cardinal Festival Committee is making its final preparations for its annual Labour Day Parade.
The route for the event has been announced, with participants set to start at the Ingredion Centre at noon on September 4th.
They’ll follow a path that takes them down Dishaw Street, County Road 2, and Bridge Street.
Afterwards, the parade will move to Dundas Street and turn around, briefly returning to County Road 2 before moving back towards the arena on Walker Street and stopping on Perry Street.
If you’re interested in taking part in the parade, the deadline to register has been extended. Participation is free, and the deadline to apply is now August 31st.
