You might need to slow down more than you’re used to the next time you drive near Domville.
The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal has announced a number of new safety measures being implemented on Hands Road, a road that runs between the Augusta Township border near Domville and Highway 416.
The changes include reducing the speed limit on the road to 40 kilometres per hour, adding new speed bumps along the road, and outlining a pedestrian crossing.
The Township hasn’t publicly announced any construction timeline for these changes. We’ve reached out to Gord Shaw, Edwardsburgh-Cardinal’s Public Works Director of Operations, to learn more.
