A portion of Prescott’s downtown core won’t be open to vehicles this weekend.
Dana Valentyne, the Town of Prescott’s Economic Development Officer, says a stretch of Edward Street will be closing to support the RiverWalk Promenade.
The multi-day event is meant to connect downtown Prescott to the waterfront area, and will feature a variety of attractions, including live music performed by local artists and a Friday night open market.
Valentyne says Edward Street will be closed between King and Water Streets for the Promenade.
“This section of road will be closed to traffic from 2:00 PM Friday, July 29th to 8:00 AM Tuesday, Aug 2nd,” she says.
If you’re interested in attending the event, you can read more about it on the Town of Prescott’s website.
