UCDSB seeking volunteers for Elections Compliance Audit Committee

The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) has put out an open call for people with experience in law, finance and managing Election Offices.

The board is looking for applicants to be on its “Municipal Elections Compliance Audit Committee.”

Similar to the committee being established by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, the members of this group will be responsible for handling finance audit requests for candidates running to be their municipality’s UCDSB board trustee.

The committee will deal with any audit requests for this year’s election, as well as any by-elections between then and November 2026.

Four people will be selected for the group: three voting members, and an alternate to replace one of the voting members if needed.

UCDSB employees, municipal council members and staff, trustee candidates and registered third parties in this year’s election can’t apply to join the committee.

You can read more about what being on the committee entails on the UCDSB website. Applications are being accepted until August 12th.
