The YMCA of Eastern Ontario is giving Prescott residents the chance to sign their children up for swimming lessons in town.
Town of Prescott staff says lessons at Centennial Pool are expected to start as soon as July 4th, for kids between the ages of three months and thirteen years old.
Lessons cost $55 for one two-week session, and they’ll be available during both the daytime and in the evening. You don’t need to be a member of the YMCA to register.
Learners will be divided into groups based on their age and skill level.
If your child has taken swimming lessons in the past from either the Red Cross or Life Saving Society, the YMCA website has a chart you can use to see what skill division they’ll be placed in based on their previous experience.
Registration opens July 21st.
