If your commute takes you through Cardinal, you might want to pick a different route for the next two weeks.
Chris LeBlanc, the Manager of Public Works for the Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal, says plans are underway for repairs and maintenance at the intersection of New Street and John Street in the town, beginning June 6th.
“The intersection at New Street and John Street will be closed for the duration of the project,” LeBlanc says.
“During the duration of the project, New Street will be open to local traffic only and will allow for two-way traffic flow via James Street.”
The repairs are expected to be finished by June 20th. The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal’s website has LeBlanc’s contact information if you have any questions or concerns.
