The Township of Augusta is calling off some scheduled Hydro pole maintenance.
The township announced Tuesday morning that the two stretches of Second Concession Road it had planned to close this week will stay open.
“Due to Hydro One workers needing to be relocated to storm ravaged areas,” township staff say in a Facebook update, “the temporary road closure set for this week has been postponed.”
The maintenance, announced late last week, would have seen Second Concession closed between County Road 15 and Rocky Road on Tuesday.
The stretch of between County Road 31 and North Campbell Road would have also been closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
Updates on when the closures will now happen will be posted on the Augusta Township website and Facebook page.
