If you were planning any travel through Augusta next week that takes you on Second Concession Road, you might need to rethink your route.
According to township staff, Hydro One workers will be closing portions of the road and setting up detours while they do pole maintenance.
“Local traffic will have limited access with potential significant delays during this time,” staff say. “Please plan your route accordingly.”
The stretch of Second Concession from County Road 15 and Rocky Road will be closed on Tuesday.
Another stretch of the road, from County Road 31 to North Campbell Road, will also be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
Staff say these closures could be extended depending on the weather, and any updates will be posted on the township Facebook page.
